Lynn Bramley talks KBH
I first came across the Kids Bee Happy website in October 2015 whilst looking for some crafting materials for my daughter. I looked at the information in the Join Up section, liked what I read and took the plunge! Ordered some sand and pictures and once me and my daughter had tried them we were hooked!
I started off by letting other parents at my daughter’s school know about my take home packs and sold a few for Halloween. Then had repeat orders for Christmas! During 2016 I started to look for local fairs and events that I could sell my products at. My next step was to host my own sand art workshops which I started holding in my local countryside centre, community centre and other local venues. The workshops proved to be very popular and I really enjoy them as you get to chat and interact with the children and adults more. I love seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they see the “sand art magic” for the first time as the sand sticks to the picture!
During the summer of 2016 I teamed up with some other KBH consultants and we ventured into the summer music festivals! They were a big success and we will be back at the same festivals this summer, with a few more in the pipeline!
By attending all the fairs/events, I have built up some good contacts and find that people now come back to me to attend their events and recommend me to other event organisers.
It was a great start to 2017 when I found out I had won a spa break courtesy of an incentive for consultants which was run by KBH Head Office!
This year I’m focusing on building my party and wedding bookings and have also started to build my own team as I have lots of enquiries for bookings and not enough hours in the week to attend them all! By building my own team, we can spread the sand art magic a little further…. !
